A metal roof is only as good as the installation behind it. We've seen plenty of jobs done by other companies where corners were cut — wrong underlayment, poor flashing around the chimney, panels that weren't aligned properly. Those roofs don't last, and they cause problems.
We do it the right way, every time. That means a full inspection before we touch anything, proper deck preparation, high-temperature underlayment, and precision panel installation with concealed fasteners. Every penetration gets flashed correctly. We don't leave until it's right.
Before we start, we walk the roof with you and explain exactly what we're going to do and why. No surprises.
WHAT WE DO ON EVERY JOB
STEP 01
FULL ROOF INSPECTION
We get up on the roof ourselves and take a real look. We'll tell you the condition of your deck, your current venting, and whether there's anything that needs to be addressed before installation starts.
STEP 02
COMPLETE TEAR-OFF
We remove everything down to the deck so we can see what we're actually working with. No covering up old problems.
STEP 03
HIGH-TEMP UNDERLAYMENT
Metal roofs get hot. The underlayment has to be rated for it — we don't use standard felt and call it a day.
STEP 04
PANEL INSTALLATION & FLASHING
Panels go on with concealed fasteners for a clean finish. Every chimney, valley, and penetration gets flashed properly — that's where most leaks start, and we're not cutting corners there.
STEP 05
FINAL WALKTHROUGH WITH YOU
We walk the job with you before we leave. If something doesn't look right to you, we address it on the spot.

It's not right for everyone, and we'll tell you that upfront. Metal costs more than asphalt shingles — there's no way around that. But if you're planning to stay in your home for the long haul, the math usually works out in your favor. You pay more once and you're done.
